Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026 · Trades Office Limited (No. 17181500), trading as PlateProof · ICO: ZC133896
This Cookie Policy explains how PlateProof (a trading name of Trades Office Limited) uses cookies and similar technologies. PlateProof minimises tracking technologies by design.
Cookies We Set
PlateProof sets one strictly necessary authentication cookie required for the Service to function. We do not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-[project]-auth-token | Maintains your login session (set by Supabase Auth) | Strictly necessary | Session / refresh token |
This cookie is configured with:
- HttpOnly — not accessible to JavaScript
- SameSite=Lax — restricted to same-site requests
- Secure — transmitted over HTTPS only
- and automatic session rotation on refresh
Cookie Consent
Because the only cookie PlateProof sets is the strictly necessary authentication cookie — required for the Service to function — your consent is not required under UK PECR, and there is no cookie consent banner. If cookie usage materially changes in future, we will introduce appropriate consent mechanisms where legally required and update this policy with reasonable notice.
What We Do Not Use
- advertising or tracking cookies
- behavioural advertising networks
- cross-site or remarketing cookies
- Meta / TikTok / Google Ads pixels
- or session-recording tools
Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from logging in. You can clear it any time by logging out, which ends your session immediately.
